Sika Bitumen® -W has been tested as per SCAQMD
Rule 1168.
Result : VOC Content 0 g/l.

Ecology
In liquid state form, material will contaminate water
and soil.
Dispose of product residues according to local regulations.

Safety Precautions
Sika Bitumen® may cause irritation to the skin and/or
mucous membrane of sensitive people. If the material
accidentally splashes into eyes, flush immediately with
warm waters and seek medical representative.
Always wears protective gloves and goggles during

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
All surfaces must be clean, free from grease, oil, standing water and all loosely adhering particles.
MIXING
Stir material before applicationAPPLICATION METHOD / TOOLS
Sika Bitumen® can be applied by brush, roller or airless spray gun.

Normally two or three coats are required, depending
on the degree of protection required.
▪
When Sika Bitumen® has to be covered with a
screed, the final coat should be blinded with clean
dry sharp sand as soon as it applied, after drying the
excess sand should be brushed off.
▪
CLEANING OF TOOLS
Clean with water for non-hardened material, for
hardened materials use Sika Thinner 2.
