SikaCeram-205 White SN can be used on substrates including:
• Concrete and mortar
• Bricks
• Plaster (with primer)
• Plasterboard, fibre cement
• Anhydrite floor (with primer)
• With underfloor heating

PRODUCT INFORMATION
Chemical Base Cementitious mortar modified with polymers.
Packaging 25 kg bag
Shelf Life 6 Months from date of production if stored properly in undamaged,
unopened, original sealed packaging in dry and cool conditions.
Storage Conditions Store in a dry, undamaged, unopened, original sealed bags, protected from direct sunlight and frost, at temperature between +5 °C
and 35 °C.
Appearance / Colour Grey powder

Tensile Adhesion Strength Initial > 1.0 N/mm2
After water immersion > 1.0 N/mm2
Skid / Slip Resistance ~ 0.5 mm
SYSTEM INFORMATION
System Structure In normal conditions, no primer is required.
However, for the following difficult substrates primer is
recommended:
Substrate: Very high absorption (Gypsum Plaster / Anhydrite
Screed)
Primer: Sika Primer 10
Application and consumption details etc. of primers are given in the
relevant Product Data Sheet.

Mixing Ratio 6.75-7.25 L of water per 25 kg bag.
Fresh mortar density ~ 1.9 kg/l (at +20°C)
Consumption This depends on the level, profile and surface roughness of the substrate, the size of the tiles and the technique of placing (simple placing or “back”-buttering).
As a guide, in kilos of powder per m2 :

MIXING
Mixing Time
Mix 25 kg bag with the necessary, above mentioned, amount of water, using an electric
blender with a suitable mixing spiral at low
speed, in a clean bucket, and up to obtain a
smooth paste free of lumps.
Leave material to stand in container (for a minimum 5 minutes). Then remix the material for 15
seconds – the product is now ready for use.
Mixing Tools
SikaCeram-205 PK must be mechanically mixed
using a forced action mixer or in a clean container using a drill and mixing paddle (< 500 rpm). A
normal concrete (free fall) mixer is not suitable.
